Merry Christmas.........The Shitter's full!

It's that time. A time when christmas music is drowned out by the sound of wailing kids. A time when people spend a hell of a lot of money on useless toys, wrapping paper, and batteries. When they could've been using that money toward their normal purchases in life. For instance where I work, weed is the most popular choice.
But enough with the ranting at this joyous time. I have to go to bed and be at work in the morning. I'll try to write again later. Gnite!

Should Be Studying

It's Tuesday....time for my weekly post. I have one more final to take today. So I should be studying for it. But as always I'm just not motivated to do so. I already took my religions final. That was pretty easy. I didn't study but it was over the briefest of info on Buddism, and other smaller followed religions. Very easy. I have 2 more funals to take online. Now I just have to figure out when I'll be able to get to this side of town again to sell my books back.

I start "mentoring" tomorrow at work. My head is going to hurt for the next three weeks.

ok i've been staring at the computer screen for o a solid two minutes, just staring. I just went completely blank.

I watched the original Cinderella, the one with Julie Andrews, last night. I realize how much I disagree with the story. However, I did like one song imparticular. The two "evil" step sisters sing this one certain song. "Why can't a fella ever once prefer a solid girl like me?" Yeah!!!! Why do fairy tales portray the heroine as this lovely, graceful, beautiful, petite, and bubbly girl? There are very few women who actually fit this discription. Are they the only ones who have a handsome man fall in love with them? On the flip side, why is he always a rich and handsome prince? There is only one prince I'd like to meet. Prince Harry. Because he's the wild one. The number of princes in this world are limited also. No wonder a girl feels she has to settle on this guy. We have been bombarded with these idealistic images that have set our standards way too high.

I think I'm done for now. I really need to study.

Epitome of Slackerdom

I really don't know what to say today. I'm bored but what else is new. I'm always bored.

Finals are next week. Thank god it's almost over.

I've been thinking of all my pals in Lubbock lately. Considering the events of last year at this time, I've been really boring lately. It's like I've lived another life. Then I had to wake up to this boring humdrum cycle I'm in. I think I'm slightly depressed. I have nothing to look forward to. Christmas isn't even exciting this year. I don't really have friends here to keep me occupied. there are a few that I have fun with on occasion, but nothing compared to the everyday every weekend of last year. So I guess I'm just trying to say I miss you guys. I am in serious need of urban family to keep me sane more or less.

I keep thinking about absolutely nothing. My mind goes blank, and I'm in deep thought, but I couldn't tell what I was thinking.

I'm ready to start at UCO this spring. While it is much smaller than Tech, it's gotta be better than being at OSU-OKC. This place has 4 buildings. 4!!!! Walking from my car to the other side of "campus" takes about as long as walking from the library to the UC at Tech. Just to put things in perspective for some of ya.

So I guess this was really short. I'm out of thoughts. Or rather I'm deep in thought and have no idea what I'm thinking about.

So.....adios.

Just Another Tuesday....

Today is just another day. I did have a few thoughts in my head to write down, but that was yesterday. I've slept since then. I don't remember what was so important.

Mom's birthday is tomorrow. So happy birthday.

I'm so ready for classes to be done and over with. I start training to be able to open accounts next week. Awoohoo!!!!(hint of sarcasm)!!!! I am having fun at my job. I enjoy who I work with. Yes I said it. I just don't want to be stuck there.

I'm not playing basketball at the lighthouse anymore. My back just isn't letting me. it's been hurting and causing problems for a while now. Playing ball once a week isn't helping at all.

Why is it that when I sit down in front of the computer to write on this thing my mind goes completely blank? I did have a lot of things to share....but I can't think of one of them. I think I might have ADD slightly. It's only on certain tasks.

I mean I can write little blurbs but if I have to write anything longer than 3 pages for a paper I struggle to crank something out. However, if I'm just writing to write like this, it's choppy and blah....

Ever since I told my mom about this site www.selectsmart.com/RELIGION I went there before my religions class started and took the little quiz. It gives you a list of like 20 world religions and denominations and lists them in order 1 to 20 of which one you most believe in from your answers. My #1 was Unitarian Protestant. My #2 was Neo Paganism. And I thought it hit pretty much on the money. My mom however, is extremely worried. Sometimes people get too caught up in the name of things without realizing that putting a name on a thought is just as hard as comprehending that thought. The name doesn't really mean anything. Take my name for example. Elyse. Don't get me wrong, I like my name, it's different. It's from Elysium, the name of the realm of the dead in Greek and Roman mythology, which means "blissful". Kinda euphoric really. I don't feel dead or blissful. I feel rather empty actually.

Yum....firemen. Sorry tangent. The OKCFD training facility is here where I'm taking classes. Firemen are very yummy. A group just walked in front of me. ;)

I need a hobby. How much do ships in a bottle cost? What about model cars? I need something to do. I'm so bored.......bored........bored. Story of my life tho.
I think I'm done rambling for today.

Thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress.
